Khatam-al-Anbiya Hospital

Khatam-al-Anbiya Specialized Eye Hospital is an educational and therapeutic center that provides training for medical students at various levels (clerkship, internship, residency, and fellowship) and offers specialized clinical services during morning and afternoon shifts, as well as 24-hour emergency care.

Following the completion of the initial 5,000-square-meter building by the Khatam-al-Anbiya Charity Foundation in 2003 (1382 SH), the hospital was handed over to Mashhad University of Medical Sciences under a memorandum of understanding managed by Mr. Hatefi. The university then equipped the facility, deployed faculty members from the Ophthalmology department, and staffed it with medical and administrative personnel. It became the only specialized eye hospital in the east of the country. Due to high-quality services, affordable costs in accordance with Ministry of Health tariffs, and financial support for needy patients, it received significant acclaim from across the province and beyond.

This overwhelming demand led the charity foundation to begin construction on a second phase in 2005 (1384 SH) covering 8,500 square meters. The first stage (2,000 square meters) was completed in 2007 (1386 SH) and allocated to specialized clinics, while the remaining 6,500 square meters are currently being finalized. We hope that upon completion of this phase, we will witness an increase in inpatient wards, operating theaters, and specialized clinics, leading to improved service delivery for our patients in this region.
