Ameri-ha Traditional Residence, Kashan

The Ameri-ha Historical House complex, formed by several adjacent and interconnected houses covering an area of about 9,000 square meters, including 85 rooms and 3 houses with 5 central courtyards featuring private and public sections, along with various covered spaces, is considered one of the oldest historical houses in Kashan. The history of this complex dates back to the Zand dynasty. In 1995 (1374 SH), the restoration of the private and public courtyards began by the Kashan Cultural Heritage Organization, and in 2000 (1379 SH), the Ameri-ha complex was included in the Pardisan project of the national Cultural Heritage Organization and was planned to be converted into a large tourism guesthouse. A prominent feature of this building is the spaciousness of both courtyards, as well as the luxurious nature of its spaces and decorations, and it possesses the tallest windcatcher among the windcatchers of Kashan’s houses. The Ameri-ha historical house is older and different from all other historical houses in Kashan in terms of age and architecture. This historical house was inaugurated as a unique accommodation complex on June 16, 2014 (26 Khordad 1393 SH).
